Whitworth Men’s Shed has joined the Precious Plastic movement with a project to see if we can build the necessary machines to process plastic waste into something useful. Our group meet on Mondays between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Please get in touch if you are interested in getting involved.
Precious Plastic is an independent, global community of hundreds of people working towards a solution to plastic pollution. Knowledge, tools and techniques are shared online, for free. So everyone can start.
Precious Plastic was started in 2013 by Dave Hakkens. Hundreds of people all over the world already contribute to the project with their skills & knowledge and support. Come and join the fight against plastic pollution!
